The Thanksgiving theme offers printable Thanksgiving/Harvest crafts, coloring pages and activities included. Remember God is the fun, interactive Thanksgiving Sunday school lesson for this Thanksgiving theme. Children participate by helping to count all the wonderful things mentioned that God has given us, both seen and unseen. Much of the lesson is in rhyming verse. There are hand motions and pretend play activities to keep the children engaged in learning, as well. Circle Talk Time helps drive home the lesson concepts: God gives us many great promises. God never forgets about us, and he wants us to remember him! Activities include an Action rhyme with hand motions, one for toddlers and one for ages 4-5; and inside group activity; and an outside group activity. Scriptures used in the lesson are Psalm 139:13-14. The key verse is Ecclesiastes 12:1a.
